About Me

I first picked up a guitar in the 90's. I was lucky enough to have an inspirational guitar tutor who introduced me to an array of new music. I was hooked and decided to study music further after highschool. At college and university my playing matured as I studied at an advanced level with a focus on rock, blues and jazz styles.

 

After graduating I started teaching professionally at Riffs Guitar Academy where the high standards of the tutors have led to the school being awarded winners for best guitar school in the UK 2007 and 2008 by the RGT/LCM examining board, I have also taught guitar on the foundation degree music course at City College Manchester. In addition to teaching I perform live regularly in various professional working bands.
